Heather Dubrow and Alexis Bellino are on a mission to create a better world for all of their children, no matter their sexual and gender identities.
The Real Housewives of Orange County stars got candid about their support of their respective LGBTQIA+ kids during the Bravo series' Sept. 19 episode.
"All three of my kids are each trying to find their own way in this world," Alexis—who is mom to transgender son Miles, 16, in addition to son James, 17, and 16-year-old daughter Mackenna—shared in a confessional. "I'm here to create a world that is loving, kind and accepting for everybody in my family."
The costars even united to attend the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards where Heather presented an award.
"I've had a relationship with the GLAAD organization for many years before my first kid even identified in the community," Heather—who shares 20-year-old twins Max and Nick as well as Kat, 17, and Ace, 13, with husband Terry Dubrow—explained in a confessional, "and to be asked to present, it's such a huge honor. GLAAD has one of the largest platforms in the LGBTQIA+ community, for Terry and I to support the work that GLAAD does makes me feel like I am making a difference and I'm on the right path."
Max shared she's bisexual in a 2020 Instagram post with Kat coming out publicly as lesbian two years later. Then in 2023, Heather shared that her youngest is transgender.
"They don't know anything but love and support and I'm glad that's true," the Let's Talk With Heather Dubrow podcast host noted. "Even though they know there's lots of kids out there that don't have what they have, I'm glad that they just feel normal."
Following the event, Alexis got emotional while thanking Heather for being a role model in how to champion their queer kids.
"What you do makes me feel like I can move forward in my life," she tearfully told her friend, "with what my battle is."
The reality stars previously opened up about how having trans kids helped them reconnect in recent years.
"We became friendly again a few years ago through some of our older kids," Heather told E! News in June. "Having LGBTQIA+ kids definitely brought us closer together. Common bonds."

"Happy Thanksgiving from The Dubrow Family!" Heather Dubrow—alongwith husband Terry Dubrow and their kids Max, Nick, Kat and Ace—shared. "We are so grateful to be together for the holiday, in good health and good spirits. Wishing you all the best for the upcoming holiday season! Also, sending a huge amount of love and thanks to all of YOU ! THANK YOU for supporting us, we are eternally grateful!"
"What would we do without you @drdubrow," Heather posted. "Love you beyond."
"We now have two kids done with sophomore year of college, one applying to college, and one who’s almost done with middle school," Heather shared on Instagram. "Where does the time go!?! My mother came to visit this month and she brought photos of me growing up – It was so fun to show the kids what I looked like at these ages and compare them to their pictures growing up!"
The family of six celebrate the holidays in matching pajamas.
"WOW! What a Christmas Eve! Fun ( but LONG) dinner @bevhillshotel," The Real Housewives of Orange County star shared, "and a fun time at home with matching pajamas, reindeer food & secret Santa! Happiest of everything to everyone and hope your holidays are lovely and peaceful."
Heather celebrates Mother's Day with some throwback photos.
"Taken when all the kids were still home!" Heather posted on Instagram. "What a joyous break with everyone under one roof ! I really hated the 5am sendoff with @maxdubrow and @dripgodvincent yesterday Everyone is officially back at school for 2nd semester. I’m sad-happy about it (sad that they left but happy to see them be independent and come into their own…)"
Heather and Max get goofy in a photo booth over the holidays.
"Late night kitchen shenanigans with my babies … I love when everyone is home."
Heather shares a beachy pic from when the kids were little.
