Jeremy Renner is Surpassingmarking the one-year anniversary of his life-changing New Year's Day snowplow accident with gratitude.
The "Avengers" star, 52, has made a remarkable recovery in the 12 months since he was crushed by his 14,000-pound snowplow while trying to free his nephew's car from the deep snow in Nevada. Renner broke more than 30 bones in the near-fatal accident and suffered a collapsed lung and pierced liver.
Renner was a guest on CNN's "New Year's Eve Live" with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on Sunday where he discussed his remarkable year and journey.
"I'm with my family who were actually all with me last year," Renner said over the video link. "We have a lot to celebrate this year and kind of recorrect what happened last year. I feel pretty blessed."

Renner said that he was "so blessed that I had so many things to live for" during the harrowing ordeal.
"I have a giant family and a 10-year-old daughter," he said. "I would have disappointed and really messed up a lot of people's lives if I had passed. So there's a lot for me to get better for. I'm also pretty stubborn and there's a lot for me to fight for."
Renner has a new music single coming out on New Year's Day and shared cover art earlier this month, which depicts him sitting on a dock with his 10-year-old daughter Ava Berlin Renner.
Renner discussed the project on Sunday saying that making music "has always been cathartic and healing for me."
"But this is more of a narrative of the life and death and recovery of all last year. So it's like a journal entry," said Renner. "It was a wonderfully healing."

Renner signaled his return to his starring role as Mike McLusky in the Paramount+ series "Mayor of Kingstown" for Season 3 by sharing an Instagram Story from co-star Emma Laird on Dec. 29.
"It's happening," the British actress wrote. "Back with my favourite guy next week."
Renner confirmed the "Kingstown" return when questioned by Cohen on Sunday.
"I think I'm ready, I think I'm strong enough," said Renner. "We'll see. I mean they want me to come back in a week. But I'll be doing my best, trying my hardest."
Jeremy Renner updates fans on his recovery, therapy
In November, Renner updated fans on the work behind his physical recovery.
"I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th," Renner shared in an Instagram post. along with a selfie of himself in a mask while undergoing red-light therapy.
Every day, Renner has undergone "countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on," he wrote.
But "my greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better. ... Be exceptional. ... I feel it's my duty to do so," he added. "Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all."
Renner has been signing his Instagram posts with a #loveandtitanium hashtag, which is the title of his upcoming album.
